Machined heat sinks & RF housings for a power-electronics firm
High-fin-density copper and aluminium heat sinks plus milled RF housings for a Shah Alam power-conversion maker, run at repeat volume with a cosmetic A-surface.

The brief
A power-electronics manufacturer needed heat sinks with tighter fin tolerances than their previous vendor could hold, milled RF housings with a clean cosmetic face, and a unit price that worked at a few thousand pieces a month.
What we made
We fixtured the fin machining to control deflection, held the pocket and wall tolerances on the housings in a two-op set-up, and clear-anodised to a controlled shade. In-process SPC on the fin pitch keeps the batches consistent; the parts have run for two years with no cosmetic rejects.
